Islam

Before you carry on:
PRECAUTION: The contents of the following may sound very biased, insensitive and i may even sound as if I am a muslim activist :s But I… don’t give a damn. i gotta say what i say and if i offend you, forgive yourself.

To the general public:
firstly, many of you may have burning questions about Islam. actually i noticed that this is one of the religions that is not really talked about in the open. but why? ur scared? scared of what? i wanna give some answers to some basic logic in Islam. and again, if i offend you, forgive yourself. i am just being me.

Why do I wear a scarf?
In Islam, in case you don’t realise it, covering her head all the way to her chest is mandatory. what i mean by mandatory is that it’s not an option, but a demand. A girl cannot just wear a scarf when she likes it and don’t when she don’t feel like it. that.. is pure crap.
now, about me:
I am a person who does things right or not do it at all. i am born a muslim and what i have learnt about this religion over the past 18 years is what i am following right now. i ain’t saying i do things perfectly in the eyes of Islam, but to my best. there are still many aspects of Islam that i know about but i don’t follow, but i feel i do what is needed to the minimum to be a muslim; that is:
1. Pray 5 times a day (wholeheartedly)
2. Believe in God
3. Greet my fellow muslims in the way they should be greeted.
4. Respect others’ believes
5. and many other things
But then again, i ain’t perfect. i do many things that is so not right, just because i don’t wanna be a social outcast. To a muslim being, what i just said would sound pretty damn shallow and to others, it would still sound shallow. but who cares. i don’t.
to all my friends out there: if one day i start coming to classes totally covered from head to toe, only eyes visible would you even freely come and talk to me? i bet any person would hesitate. i ain’t saying i would do that, coz that is not only difficult to follow in this era, but it is also not a necessity in Islam.

( In islam it is necessary for a girl to cover her hair, from her forehead backwards and from her neck to her chest. it is not compulsary to cover the face as some muslims do, but it ain’t wrong either.)

I see many people around me aren’t aware of what they are given at birth. they count their misfortunes and unhappiness but not their blessings, or at least not enough.

All my muslim friends: you are already gifted to be born as muslims, in my point of view, as i feel that Islam is the true religion (that’s what everyone feel about theirs). But why do you choose to do all the wrong things. Don’t just focus in the worldly pleasures as it is nothing compared to the one hereafter. in simple terms it is called heaven. and hell… do you know what hell is? it wasn’t your test paper this afternoon or your life ("The paper was like HELL" , "my life is hell")
let me tell you something, if only your life is to be hell, you’d be drinking molten copper and pus as water and lie on the grill for a tan. gosh, i know this post might offend you all to the core, but think about it. if you studied Islam right, you should know why girls should wear a tudung, why she must wear long sleeved stuff why she shouldn’t put on too much perfume (which i dun follow) and many other things. don’t look at this as a confrontation, but as an advice or rather piece of mind from a friend.

To all my non-muslim friends: Many of you compare me with my other muslim friends, saying that why am i wearing scarf and she is not. As i said earlier, it’s not an option, but a demand. Next time don’t ask me why i am wearing and she’s not. ask her why she is not wearing and i am. let her  answer your question, not me.

Now, to all my friends who wear the tudung:

If a friend ask you why you wear a scarf in comparison to some girl who doesn’t, ask the friend to ask that girl the question.
A girl wearing a scarf and then wearing body-hugging clothing is equivalent to a girl not wearing the scarvews. i know ur prod of your bodies i am too, but flaunting it is not the best idea; especially in this way. coz ur not giving a purpose for wearing the scarf at all.

i’ll be back with my issues about islam, my friends singapore and everything. and if you don’t like it, don’t read it. It is very immature of one to read something just to give a bad critic on it not the person who created it, but to everyone else. in layman term: gossiping.
If you have anything bad to say about it, say it to me or not say it at all.

with these, im buzzing off
faNa

thank u
